The seasons are changing, and the holidays will soon be upon us. We are encouraging you to support local businesses by participating in our LOCAL LOVE Gift Card Campaign.
Local businesses are generously offering a percentage back to WAMPA for every gift card purchased. For example, if the business is giving back 20%, and you purchase a $50 gift card, WAMPA receives $10 from the business.
The best part of this fundraiser is that our WAMPA crew will do all the running around for you, collecting all the gift cards you would like to purchase. You can sit in the comfort of your own home without having to drive anywhere.
Gift cards can be purchased two ways between now and October 31st. The process is simple:
1. Order online now through October 31, 2025 by clicking on this link. Online orders usually cost WAMPA an average of $5 in processing fees. We do give those who order online an option to pay for their processing fees.
2. Print the attached order form (linked to the right). Collect orders and payments by check. All checks need to be made payable to “WAMPA” for the correct amount.
a. Order forms and payments can be dropped off to Jen Theriaque at the WA South Campus, due by October 31st.
b. If you choose to mail your order form(s) and check(s), the envelopes will need to be postmarked by October 24th. Mail to WAMPA c/o Jen Theriaque, 176 Route 169, Woodstock, CT 06281.
Be sure to share the ordering options with your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and other people who like to shop at local businesses. Be creative with your emails and social media posts.
Gift cards will be available for pick up at the Winter Concert on Friday, December 12th.
For those not attending the concert, an alternate pick-up date will be Tuesday, December 16th from 4:30-6:00 pm in the Loos Center for the Arts parking lot.
